How does DUOcalor work?
Easy, it is a system that combines in a single device two ways of heat diffusion: natural convection and radiation. As soon as the fire is lighted, the air heats up inside the integrated ducts and, by natural convection, it goes up through the ventilation grids, allowing an immediate heat in the room.
In the meantime, the majolica cladding also heats up and, by radiation, slowly releases further heat to the room. The heat released by radiation by the stove is due to infrared rays. They have the same wavelength as those emitted by the human body: therefore, the feeling of well-being next to a Sintesi stove is unique and pleasant.
NATURAL CONVECTION HEATING
The fresh air in the room is sucked into the bottom part of the stove, then it heats up through the internal ducts and comes off the top. There is a rapid heat release also from the door. It only takes a few minutes and the warm air spreads out in the room.
RADIANT HEATING
Its cladding of thick tiles (a 2,9 mq surface!) allows the stove to get and accumulate heat, to be gradually released in the room with a pleasant feeling of constant warmth, without peaks or rapid changes in temperature.
